About me
I enjoy difficult problems and building useful software.
I’m Aytaç Kokus, an independent technical consultant based in Belgium. I build web applications, integrations and automations.
How I think
Curious by nature. Practical in my work.
I am value-driven. I focus on what the work improves for the business, its users and the team, not technology for its own sake.
I enjoy challenges and problems without an obvious answer. I like looking at a problem from different angles and learning new technologies when they can improve the result.
I do not choose a tool because it is popular or familiar. I first try to understand the real need, the limits of the project and the people who will use and maintain the system.
Sometimes the right answer is a new application. Sometimes it is a small integration, a careful improvement to an existing system or a simpler way of working.
What matters to me
Good work should remain understandable.
01
Clear decisions
I explain important choices in plain language, including the limits and tradeoffs.
02
Practical delivery
I focus on what the project needs and turn technical plans into working software.
03
Future maintenance
I consider deployment, documentation and future changes as part of the work.
Always learning
New technology is useful when it solves a real problem.
I like entering unfamiliar systems, understanding how they fit together and finding a clear way forward. Learning is a natural part of that process.
I am especially interested in automation, AI and autonomous systems. I explore how they can reduce repetitive work and support better decisions, while keeping their behavior understandable and controlled.
The goal is not to use the newest technology. The goal is to build something useful that fits the situation and can be maintained.
